Blair, it was so good to hear from you. I come to you site from time to time, and have not seen any updates lately. I was worried about you, especially with all that has been on in Afghanistan.
Your photos are always inspiring. They make me realize that I should be doing something more meaningful with my talent.
The shadow photo is wonderful. Love your human rights photo. So true, and it reaches far and wide.
Basir, your photos are powerful images and show such beauty also. You have captured the human element so wonderfully. I am so glad you wrote to me on my site so I could learn and follow your site. I have signed up as a follower on your site and look forward to more great images. Many, may years ago, my Aunt and Uncle went to Afghanistan for severals years while in the Peace Corps. My cousin was born there also. I have always had an interest in your country. Your images have helped renew my interest. Please be careful and safe. Thanks for your comments on my site about my photography tour in Arizona. I will be showing more photography tour photos from the Vermillion Cliffs and the gorgeous Slot Canyons over the next few weeks. I am very lucky to have the opportunity to go to the class. If you like travel photos, we also have a travel photo site at www.vivalavoyage.com. Currently we are showing photos of the polo ponies of Argentina. We psot new travel photos every Sunday. Salam alaikum
i saw on your weblog written "the weblog of human rights" a lot of people call out of human rights. but the fact that who really has the sense of humanity and who call it out for one's own political profit, will be known in action.

Nice blog Basir, I love the portraits that you take, they are so naturallooking.
Thanks for your visit and kind comments.
I very much like the shadows in this shot. Looks like the boy is playing with a hoop much the same way as kids used to do here.
I'm glad the boy can concentrate on what is important - to him. Good shot!

You take nice photos.
I love the contrast between the shadows and light...very moving. Thanks for stopping by at my sunflower. Good luck to you!
